Library Hours

Visitors are welcome to use the library from Sunday to Thursday.
From 8:00 AM until 2:50 PM.
Students are asked to leave the library 5 minutes before closing.

Library Catalog

The NIS library recently introduced a new service utilizing QR codes. With this service, you can access the Smart Library Catalog directly from any smartphone by scanning the library’s QR code.

To scan QR codes, you’ll need a handheld device equipped with a camera, a web browser, and QR code reader software. This software is available for download on Google Play or the App Store.

After downloading the QR Code reader application open your phone camera.

Scan QR code

Click on the link that appears at the top.

Access the library catalog.

All results are automatically saved in QR Code reader history for quick retrieval.

Items borrowed from the library that are returned after the due date are subject to charges.  A 10 LE fee will be applied for each day late. A notification email will be sent to the school principal.

Books are arranged on shelves according to Dewey decimal classification scheme (DDCS) that divides human knowledge into ten major sections to make it easy for the readers.
